The owners were friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and tastefully decorated. I particularly loved the peaceful atmosphere and waking up to the soothing sound of birds chirping. The breakfast served on the patio was delicious and included a variety of options to satisfy all tastes. Although the property was a bit secluded, it provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. My only minor concerns were the strict check-in hours and the lack of easily accessible amenities during the evening. However, these did not detract from the overall positive experience. I would highly recommend this country house to anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat in Tuscany. I had a wonderful stay and would gladly return in the future.

The room at Podere Montese Country House was cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the hills. It had a nice fan to keep us cool during the warm weather, and the private bathroom was clean and well-equipped with a shower and free toiletries. We felt right at home!

Personally, I would have preferred a hairdryer in the bathroom. But hey, that's just me!

Our stay at Podere Montese was a highlight of our trip. The location was ideal, with San Gimignano just a short distance away, and other beautiful towns easily accessible by car. The view from the facilities was stunning, with the iconic towers of San Gimignano in the background. The rooms were spacious and clean, with daily upkeep. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the pool was well-maintained and refreshing. We would definitely come back again!

Annelise & Dawide were the perfect hosts, super friendly and very helpful with any info we needed. Abundant breakfasts were scrumptious and served on the outside terrace or garden overlooking the magnificent views. The freshly baked croissants and sweet/savory tarts were delicious. A separate kitchen/dining area with fridge for personal use was very handy. Their wines that they cultivate and bottle from their own vineyards are readily available and are really good and very affordable. The lazy day spent at the pool was amazing, and we enjoyed strolling through their vineyards and olive grove. The room and bathroom were very comfortable. Perfect setting, perfect accommodation, perfect memories of a very well run and homely B&B for our 5-night stay. Highly recommended. You would need your own transport as the village is about 5km away.
